OUR COMPANY
Family First was founded in 2013 as a collaborative partnership between Jonathan McCabe (BCBA) and David Charlon (MA). Our treatment philosophy is based on the idea that families and caregivers are the key to changing behavior for individuals with ASD. Out of that initial insight has grown a robust, evidence-based approach to treatment.
At the time, Mr. McCabe and Mr. Charlon had over two decades of combined experience working in the field of ABA and in-home autism therapy. Utilizing their extensive backgrounds, they began to provide a unique blend of behavior consultation and direct care based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This approach to working with families, individuals and specialized programs proved to be both efficient and effective, and has been well received by families who have benefited from the close collaboration and training of an experienced practitioner that our programs provide.
